5th Grade Camp registration is now OPEN!
Camp dates - Oct 28-20, 2024
5th grade students have the opportunity to attend this 3 day-2 night camp coming up in October.
Spots are limited and are open to all students on A, B, and C Track on a lottery basis.*
Cost: The cost per student is $400.00. Cost includes transportation from Classical Academy Vista to Pathfinder, your time at camp (including meals once at camp, and all activities), a camp T Shirt, and transportation from Pathfinder back to CAV.
Chaperone cost is $300 and will be chosen by lottery at a later date.
Payment Schedule:
June 14th: $100 deposit is due ($50 of this deposit is non-refundable) your Permission click form is due, and your health form online is due.
August 16th– 2nd payment of $150 due
September 20th– Final payment of $150 due *No refunds given after 7/30/2024*
Please understand it is your responsibility to make your payments on time. Late payments may be subject to removal of your student(s) spot on the trip.
*Due to the popularity of this trip and the limited spaces available. We will use the sign-ups on this form to lottery out our available spots on 6/13/24 and notify families. If your student is chosen by lottery to attend, you will be sent a sign up/payment link that MUST be completed by 6/14/24, or your student(s) risk losing their spot.
Please only complete this form if your student is certain they would like to attend and the dates work for your schedule. As a reminder, refunds are not available after 7/30/2024.

School Meals Available at Community Locations
Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost, regardless of the school they normally attend. Visit San Diego County Summer 2024 Meal Sites for Students to view a list of summer meal sites in your neighborhood. Please contact the site directly for more information.

8th Grade East Coast Trip (24-25 school year) – Attention Current 7th grade families!
Registration is OPEN for next school year’s 8th grade East Coast Trip. This is an amazing opportunity for your student to tour multiple historical and fantastic places on the East Coast. Check out all the details here.

7TH GRADE CLASS TRIP TO CATALINA ISLAND
Attn Next school year's 7th Grade Families (24-25 School Year)
All 7th grade students at Classical Academy Vista have an opportunity to attend a 3-day, 2-night class trip to Catalina Island, California to participate in Catalina Island's Marine Institute camp on September 16-18, 2024.
Please note, this trip is an optional educational trip. Spots are limited and are open to all students on M and C Track on a lottery basis.*
Cost: The cost per student is $450.00. Cost includes transportation from Classical Academy Vista to Catalina (by bus/ferry), your time at camp (including meals once at camp, and all activities), a camp T Shirt, and transportation from Catalina back to CAV.
Chaperone cost is $350 and will be chosen by lottery at a later date.
Payment Schedule:
April 29th-May 1st: Sign Ups open via google sheets.
May 2nd: A Lottery for students signed up will take place and students chosen by lottery will be notified
May 10th: $150 deposit is due ($75 of this deposit is non-refundable) and your Permission click form is due.

If you need to speak to a person, the first place to get help is your teacher or Educational Specialist. If he or she cannot solve the problem for you, they will get help! Keep in mind that not all students will be using all accounts.

Free Shred Event for Vista Residents!
The City of Vista and EDCO will sponsor a FREE paper shredding, e-waste collection and mulch event on Saturday, June 8th, 9-12pm.
Shredding limited to 2 bankers boxes (10" x 12" x 15") per household
E Waste: Acceptable items include computers, monitors, laptops, computer components, printers, scanners, fax machines, radios, and cell phones
Free Mulch is available for Vista residents - self-serve, self-loading and self-haul! (bring your own cans/bags/gloves/shovel) Limit of 3 cans/bags per vehicle.

Youth Ride Free on Bus, Trolley, COASTER & SPRINTER
Free Transit Passes for Students - Unlimited Rides on Bus, Trolley, Coaster & Sprinter
The Youth Opportunity Pass (YOP), which allows all riders 18 and under to ride all San Diego County transit systems (bus, trolley, Coaster, Sprinter), including North County Transit District and MTS services for FREE, has been extended through June 2024.
To be eligible for the Youth Opportunity Pass, riders 18 and under must have a Youth PRONTO app account, or a Youth PRONTO card, and travel with proof of eligibility. Riders who do not have a Youth PRONTO pass may either download one on a smartphone or pick up a free card from the MTS Transit Store, NCTD Customer Service Centers or select community organizations. FREE Gift for Eligibility Verification
All youth with a YOP account must have their eligibility verified. For a limited time only, while supplies last, receive a FREE gift when you verify your YOP account at any NCTD Customer Service Center. Not sure if your PRONTO YOP eligibility has been verified? Call NCTD Customer Service at (760) 966-6500, Monday-Friday, 7am - 7pm, and weekends and holidays, 8am- 5 pm.

Founded by Kat Chilidonia - CAV Music Teacher - Furballs Furever Rescue, is a nonprofit 501c3, animal rescue. We are 100% donation based and volunteer run.
Our mission: Abandoned, unwanted but never unloved. We here at Furballs Furever Rescue have made it our mission to rescue and vet as many furballs as we can get our hands on. We also vow to love them until we are able to find them their perfect Furever home.

VISITOR AND VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES
ALL visitors/parents/guardians who will be coming on campus MUST sign in at the front desk and obtain a Visitors Badge.
Please have your ID ready the first time you check in. After this 1st check-in, we will not require your ID. You may provide your name at the front desk and we will print you a visitor's badge.
If you will be volunteering in a classroom or plan on volunteering in the future, please email Caitlyn Avila and she will send you the Volunteer Letter/Survey that is required to be completed in order to volunteer on our campus. cavila@classicalacademy.com
