Hi CAV Families,
Welcome to the last week of Unit 4! That will only leave us with two units left in the 20/21 school year. We have a lot to look at this week as we have some deadlines and events in the month of March. Musical Theater will be performing a drive-in venue of past performance vignettes. Please see below for tickets and performance times.
We are planning a yearbook this year filled with your personal memories of 20/21. You can add a personal page to highlight your school year, and it will appear in all the yearbooks, plus if you purchase one, you will receive two full custom pages for your individual book. See below for more information.
Re-enrollment for next year 21/22 is on! You have until March 8th to submit everything in Pathways. You will also be able to add any siblings who would like to come next year. Please call the office, 760-330-9800, with any questions or support you need. After the deadline, we will be releasing any spots available to the lottery.
We are accepting Lottery slips for new families until March 5th. If you know anyone interested in our program, please have them visit our website for information and lottery entry forms. We are excited to see where we go next year.
Take care and have a wonderful week,
Kirstin Lasto
CAV Principal

Due to COVID 19, our 4th-8th Grade Class Trips have been cancelled for this year.
The 4th, 5th, 6th,7th and 8th grade class trips will be postponed/cancelled this year due to COVID19. With shifting health updates, and the unpredictability of just how the school year will unfold, we have made the tough decision to cancel the trips for this year. We regret this is happening and hope to see these educational adventures return next school year.

School Meals Available at Community Locations
On October 9, 2020, the USDA extended the summer grab-and-go school meal program to encompass the entire school year. Children are eligible to receive meals regardless of school or district of attendance. School districts are working hard to implement the new guidelines and meet local needs. Locally, we are aware of meal services in Escondido, Oceanside, and Vista. Please visit their websites for more information. To find out when your neighborhood school will be ready to participate in this program, please visit 20/21 Meal Sites for Students.
