Each Mini City will have: one water component, one electrical component, one historical landmark, and be made out of recycled materials.
Each student within the group will be assigned a role as an: architect, an engineer, and/or a historian. We will also be diving into: city management, renewable resources, and where the city water is coming from.
."What a great day to learn to play my ukulele!"
If fulfilled, this project will provide our music students with 20 Ukuleles with 20 tuners, picks and 20 ukulele storage bags. Its getting close to being fully funded but not quite done yet!
This year my students will be studying the art of Egypt. The students will be learning about ancient tombs, Egyptian hieroglyphs, and the art of creating an ancient sarcophagus. This projects will be sculptural as well as 2 dimensional. The students will be painting, and designing their boxes with paint and ink. The inside of the boxes will have a sculpted Egyptian mummy. The students will be using the plaster tape to create this sculpture. This project brings history and art together for a fun interactive experience. On the back of each box will be facts about Egyptian history. This project will be displayed at the schools art show.

School Drop Off Traffic Flow Diagram
School Pick Up Traffic Flow Diagram
Drop off is from 8:30 - 8:45 am.
We will meet in the gym for our all school assembly from 8:45 - 9:00 am. All family and friends are welcome at our morning assembly. All kids will follow their teacher to their first morning class at 9:00 am.
Late arrivals will need to check in at the office. Office Staff will walk students to their class.
Pick up is at 3:00 pm for K-2nd and 3:30 pm for 3-8th.
Younger siblings waiting for older ones will be supervised on the playground until the 3:30 pm pick up.
We have two lines of traffic that come into the pickup area.
At book pick up, you will receive a placard with your last name to display in your car window.
Last names beginning with A-K are on the playground lane (inner right lane) and L-Z are on the parking lot lane (left lane). Signs will be posted to help with traffic flow. The first few weeks will be slower as we learn to recognize cars. Please be patient as we work this out. Last year we were able to get everyone in and out within 10 minutes.
