See Something, Say Something!
Middle School (7th and 8th grade ONLY) families should have received an email from The Classical Academies on Tuesday, March 7, about the new "See Something, Say Something" reporting system. This program is for students in grades 7-12. If you missed the letter, please Click Here to read it. Included in the letter is a 17 minute video that we encourage you to watch with your student. The video does not go into details about the reporting system, but rather focuses on the importance of speaking up and saying something to a trusted adult. Posters with a QR code will be displayed in classrooms and around campus as well. The QR code on the posters will be a direct link to the anonymous reporting system.
Please keep in mind that this reporting system is one way we are building a safer school environment!
The reporting system is one option, but we want students to know that they have a lot of people around them who care! Please have a conversation with your middle school student about the importance of speaking up and reporting threats of self-harm or harm to others. Be sure to remind them that they can always speak to a trusted adult (YOU!), a teacher, an administrator, the school counselor, etc. This is a good reminder for them to speak up and say something!
If your student must remain anonymous or it is after hours, utilize the 24/7 Say Something Anonymous Reporting System by:
scanning the QR code posters that will be placed around the campus
going to the Say Something website
calling the hotline 1-844-5-SayNow
downloading the Say Something SHP app on Google Play or the Apple Store
If you have any questions about the reporting system, feel free to ask one of our school counselors.

Emily has gone above and beyond to serve and support the other students in her classes, She consistently volunteers to help where needed with set up/clean up, assisting other students that need assistance and always has a smile and great attitude. She works hard to be a good example to others with staying on task and encouraging others who may be distracted or disruptive. Do you want help teaching history at home?
A/B and C track students, grades 1st through 6th, have the option of using a history course created by Mrs. Broyles! The course follows our TCA curriculum and is designed to support families in teaching history with video lessons, read-alouds, and fun differentiated assignments as well as optional crafts for extension. It also allows families with students in multiple grade levels the ability to learn similar content with individual, grade-level appropriate assignments. The class, History with Mrs. Broyles, is posted in Schoology. Use this access code: 9C8S-K7K9-R48GP to add it to your Schoology dashboard. This course does not provide access to a teacher, but provides access to the resources needed to support your teaching at home.

Cold, allergy, flu and COVID symptoms all look alike. It is important to not self-diagnose these symptoms.
