IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PARENTS PLEASE READ
We have noticed an increase in students crossing Canyon Rd, at the Gretna Green gate, without an adult. We do not permit parents to drop their students off to walk onto campus, independently. Parents MUST park and walk students across the street and onto campus. This is a very busy street during school hours and it is important that everyone do their part to keep our students safe.
Dress as your favorite book or movie character!

Please no masks, weapons or inappropriate costumes. Dress code will be enforced.

In ancient times, magicians wielded tremendous power in society. Of course today we realize that the mysterious world of magic is truly the fascinating world of science. All magic is comprised of illusions and the majority of illusions are based on scientific principles. Come with us on a journey of exploration into the science behind the magic! The Magic of Science allows everyone, both in the audience and on stage, to become a magician! Everything done in this 45-minute science assembly program looks and acts like a real magic trick. The only real trick is that everything done is science at work.

Rhett Byler-KNB- Mrs. Botka
Annabelle Byler -2B- Mrs. Fogleman
Rhett and Annabelle’s dad and grandpa had separate, incapacitating injuries with recoveries that are taking 3+ months, and their grandpa had to move in with us for care. They have never once tired of being incredibly helpful “nurses” to them and assistants to me, and are always asking, “Is there anything I can do to help?”. They are often getting stuff for everyone, going to doctors’ appointments, and giving up quality time with Mom to be kind and sacrifice of themselves, all while keeping a great attitude!
Both Rhett and Annabelle were little heroes when their grandpa got injured, sprinting down the hill to me to call 911. He is ok because of their fast action and concern for others.
In the middle of all of this, Rhett put together a gift for his classmate who broke her arm. And his friend also told me that Rhett was the only one not to laugh when this friend got hurt in soccer.
Very proud of them for thinking of others!
