We would like to know who would be interested in having their child take Mexican folkloric dance classes after school for an hour. Each class/lesson will cost around $11 to $15 depending on how many students sign up. Classes will be once a week. We need around 20-25 students interested in taking the classes. This will be offered to grades K-5. If you are interested, please fill out the following form and we will send you more information.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention classes (CPI) have been added to Eduphoria for the following dates:
Initial 2 day CPI – Aug 31/Sept 1
Initial 2 day CPI - Sept 21 & 22
Refresher 1 day CPI – Sept 23 (must have had the initial/refresher in the last 18 months)
All classes are at the Nancy Watten Building (Multi-purpose Building). Classes focus on de-escalation skills, but also teaches skills for hold (restraints) if they become necessary so it is a good class for all teachers that work with students with problem behavior in general education or special education. We will have CPI classes every 30 days. The rest of the classes will be added to Eduphoria as the class location is confirmed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
*This is for staff who work with students who have behavior that would include harming themselves or others. Priority will be given to the classrooms with these types of behavior*
Now that your professional goals have been established, remember to fill out your TAG ME form and hang it outside your door. You can print it in color and on cardstock (if you wish).

Students talking with each other and knowing how to listen is an IMPORTANT SKILL to TEACH. Here are some talk move posters you can put in your classroom. Feel free to print them on cardstock in the office and laminate
Do you feel overwhelmed with copies? Do you want to put up a bulletin board but you do not have time? Do you need your classroom library organized?
ASK YOUR PARENTS TO VOLUNTEER!
We can open the doors and invite our parents in! Ask your parents if they are willing to help. Our parents want to help!
*Please make sure to check with Sonia to make sure they have passed their background check and are able to volunteer.
We need to renew, rebuild, and restore our relationships with our parents! Bring them in and let them help you!
