The Book Vending Machine is Here!!!

We had guests help with morning arrival this week!

4th grade had a great time at the Outdoor Learning Center this week!

Check out the new environmental print word wall in kindergarten! Environmental print is the print of everyday life. It's the name given to the print that appears in signs, labels, and logos. Street signs, candy wrappers, labels on products are other examples of environmental print. For many emergent readers, environmental print helps bridge the connection between letters and first efforts to read.

2nd graders are exchanging their behavior/homework chart for play money . They're using their math skills to count money and are learning the value of money.

2nd grade students took time learning and writing about famous Hispanic people and their contributions. They researched a famous Hispanic, wrote about him/her, created the character using different materials and presented it to the class!

As you update your agendas each week, please collaborate as a team on what instructional focus, essential question, and/or data you will be discussing each week. Feel free to use the menu provided to help you.

Mrs. Govea - Mrs. Govea is a great team player. I went to her seeking help to meet the needs of a new student (newcomer) who is illiterate.
