On Monday (12/12), Five Star Ford in Carrollton will gift the staff lunch from Joe's Pizza. There will be pasta and salad.


On Thursday (12/15), we will be serving our holiday lunch from Marshalls BBQ.


December Check-Out List

_____1. Refrigerators unplugged, defrosted, and cleaned out.

_____2. Microwaves unplugged.

_____3. Computers completely turned off and cart light off.

_____4. Room cleaned of all clutter.

_____5. Desk Area Free from Clutter

_____6. All papers from first semester that are graded are returned to students.

_____7. Grades are in the grade book.

_____8. Grades are finalized.

_____9. Main Refrigerator is free of your lunch items.

_____10. Turn in library materials and tech you don’t need for next semester.

_____11. Bulletin Boards in hallway are straight, new material for 3rd nine weeks, and free of holiday items. (Bulletin boards in many areas look a little tired. Please restaple or refresh the whole thing)

_____12. Classroom is free of holiday items and ready on the walls for 3rd nine weeks.

_____13. Make absolutely sure that you have NO money in your desk or closet from students. This should have already been turned in, but better late than not at all. If you have any, get it to the office staff.

Teachers, Join us by participating in the 12 Days of Teaching Strategies that Sleigh It! Contest!!! This contest is optional, but you could win a prize and every child is a winner with increased student engagement.

Step 2: Implement 3 or more strategies in your classroom between now and December 15th!

Step 3: Complete the Contest Entry Form (One form per participant). You will need to use this link and not the link on the Canva presentation. I’ll be honest, I “borrowed” this presentation and I can’t change it on the Canva.

Step 4 Drawing will take place Thursday, December 15th at 4:00 p.m.

Step 5: The prize is $100.00 to Lakeshore! There will be 3 entries drawn and the winners will be announced on Friday, December 16th. If you have enough entries, you could win all 3 prizes!

Starting after Christmas break, ARD meetings will be on Fridays. We are moving from Wednesday - Friday because the CM/Speech team has their planning day on Friday. This will allow them not to miss groups on Wednesday.

December 5-15 will be used for testing (MAP, F&P, Benchmarks, etc.)

Please start off the day by meeting with your team to organize your WIN time groups. Create a plan with your team based on data.

Meet with the WIN team in the coaches' room to sort groups on the excel sheet (final groupings)
