If you are unsure, I would suggest you go ahead and complete the form … you never know 😊

This is for ALL STAFF (paraprofessional and professional).

Identifying GT Students

I have to say, I am so excited at the number of potential GT students we have at CE!

Here is the presentation that was shared at the meeting on Wednesday.

Thank you for seeing the potential in our students!!!

Hey wonderful people,

This issue of Bits & Bytes shares some information about Typing Club, some GREAT tools for your classroom, and resources for Native American Heritage Month.

⌨ Grades 2-5: If your students have completed the first 3 sections of lessons in Typing Club, they can attempt the Mid-Year Checkpoint to see how their Words Per Minute match up to their EOY goals! Remember that you can assign additional courses on topics such as digital citizenship, vocabulary & spelling (with Greek/latin roots), and even Spanish characters. Let me know if you need help setting up your Chromebooks for bilingual typing.

🔊Mote is also a new great tool to help our ELs! Teachers can now add their voice recordings to Google tools, such as Forms. Hello self-graded and self-paced spelling tests! Woo!

📚 If you find a lesson in the resources for Native American Heritage Month and you would like for me to co-teach – I am more than happy to do so!

Let me know if you would like for me to visit and plan with you! As always you can reach out to schedule a time for support or email me with any questions. 😊 Have a great rest of your week!

Good afternoon,

Tutoring can begin!

We are very blessed to be able to pay you for tutoring (most campuses do not)! If you decide to tutor until 4:30, you will be paid for one hour of tutoring.

Please add a tab to the bottom with your name and your students you are tutoring.

Please turn this form into Linda to be paid.

Remember, it is important to turn in the form the week you did the work.

Thanks so much!

Monica

Staff Shout-Out Form

Carrollton Elementary Staff - Thanks to all of you for your uplifting and encouraging remarks following the Service Awards Dinner event. I am the one who has been blessed for 50 years to work with the greatest group of teachers and paraprofessionals in the field of education. You are not only the friends who stand with me through good times and rough times but my mentors who have helped me keep growing and learning all these years. Without your energy, encouragement, patience, and love, my lengthy tenure in the district was not only possible but rewarding. My Carrollton Elementary family is the BEST!! - Forever Grateful To My Lion Family! Jo Lynne Luttrell

Carrollton Elementary Staff- Thank you for all of the kind words and gifts for Principal Appreciation Month. I say this all the time...you all do the heavy lifting and I am here to support you and help you in any way I can. I appreciate each and every one of you and I am blessed to work alongside you! - Love, Monica
