EOY Checklist

Here is the EOY Checklist!

Summer Construction

Just as a heads up!  Our building will be under construction this summer. The building will be closed as soon as school is over. The construction crew will be coming in starting on May 26th.

We will be getting the following:

-New cameras (outside and inside the building)

-New fobs (outside and inside the building)

-New intercom system

-New clocks

-Work done to improve the ventilation system in the Music Room (it stinks in there)

-Some work done on our entryway office windows

-Work done in gym and ceiling painted

What does this mean for you?

-If you are working summer school, Melinda will let you know what room you will be in. We will only be using the 4th and 5th grade hallway, Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Ibarra's classrooms. This is 13 classrooms. ALL OTHER ROOMS WILL BE OFF LIMITS. You will need to pack your items and have them moved to the summer school room prior to the last day of school.

-You can leave items on the walls but be aware that something may get ripped. If it will hurt your feelings if something is broken, make sure to move it.

-Declutter your room so that construction can come in. Throw things away. Your room should be able to be worked. In.

-You need to take anything personal or anything that means something to you and pack it away or take it home.

-All teachers need to take their laptop home with them.

-Promethean Boards will need to be put into a corner and the screen facing the wall so nothing can hit the screen.

-The building will be closed until AUGUST 3RD

EOY Student Buckets

We usually do EOY buckets for the students. Based on feedback, teachers do not use the items in the folders. So, this year, we are going to do it a little differently.

  • All students will have a WIN folder. The folder MUST be updated.

  • All WIN time folders will go into the bucket in alpha order by last name.

  • Team lead will include a grade level class list with all student names higlighted that shows you have EVERY WIN folder.

  • If you have extra empty buckets that you do not want, you can give to Koen or Diaz.

All documents in the current folders need to be shred. You can place them in a box and put shred on the box and give to Linda.

EOY Reading Running Records

 Give to Team Leads

Team Leads - EOY Running Record for all students turned into Koen with a class list of all students in grade level with names highlighted that shows a RR is in the pile.

Devices and Library EOY

UPDATE!!!!!

Happy Friday! Due to considerable feedback from elementary campus administrators, we are adjusting the device collection plan to include all student Chromebooks and iPads.  1:1 devices will be collected prior to the last day of school for all elementary students regardless of summer school attendance.

All student library books are due Friday, May 12th.

All devices and charges are due by Friday, May 19th.

All teacher library books and materials due Monday, May 22.

(Also, if a teacher is staying in CFB and moving campuses, the laptop goes with them..)
