Have a look at some examples of facts teamed up with a technique to create a sizzling start:
You will now get back into your small groups from last week (Thursday Week 3) and collect your "Our Spinning Planet" planning sheets.
Choose one fact and write it in the Sizzling Start section of the planning sheet.
Together write a Sizzling Start on spare paper. The Sizzling Start must use one of the 10 Spinning Planet facts teamed up with one of these techniques: Action, Question or Story (word picture).
If you finish early you may want to try writing another Sizzling Start using a different technique!
