Week 5 Objective: Students will begin their first performance task this week where they will be asked to write an ACQC paragraph and design a poster attracting attention to a social issue in their community that they feel is a human rights violation. They will be proposing a law that would make protecting the human right they are exploring more enforceable. Students will also get an introduction to how to read statistics and how to use them to build and support an argument. (ELA 4.1, ELA 4.2, NGE 2.4, SS 1.1)

Wednesday, October 2nd - Statistics and Research - Students will begin gain a brief introduction to statistics and begin research on their topic
Friday, October 4th - Social Justice Art Friday
