Week's Objective: In small groups, students will break down 6 documents exploring some aspect of housing discrimination. Final expectation is that students will provide a 2 to 5 minute presentation on their document exploring what the document teaches us about housing discrimination in the mid 20th Century. In the process, students will annotate, answer short answer questions, and create 3 brief slides on the document. (SS 1.2; SS 2.2; ELA 2.1)
Monday, November 25th - In groups of 3, students will explore the following documents to gain additional perspective on the circumstances that led to residential segregation. Students will spend today reading their assigned article, answering short-answer questions, and developing 3 slides to present to the class on what their document can help us understand about residential experience. The slides they must create are as follows:
Tuesday, November 26th - Students will present their documents to the class. While the audience is listening to the presentations, students must complete the document below:
