Week's Objective: This short week will ask students to become familiar with the expectations of the final LC1 project analyzing the effects of systemic racism on individual lives and communities.
Friday, January 3rd, 2020 (SS 1.3) - Students will begin work on analyzing the effects of both mass incarceration and housing discrimination by completing the attached concentric circles exercise will students will not only analyze the people directly affected by these circumstances, but they will also think about how people are indirectly are impacted. This will serve as a starting point for students to explore the different points of view they want to explore in their vignette and final project.
We will complete one of these for both housing discrimination and mass incarceration.
