Creating a newspaper using Google Slides? Impossible? Absolutely not! Not only is it possible, but you and your students can create a whimsical looking newspaper using the provided template on this page or take this template and update it for a more modern look and feel.

For this badge, the presentation MUST be created in Google Slides. Power Point presentations that have been uploaded to Google will NOT be accepted.

It is ideally suited for collaborative projects among your students. Keep in mind that even though you're working from a template, the individual slides can be copied to make the publication longer allowing for additional articles to be written and videos to be included.

TO EARN THIS BADGE

1. Using the provided template or one similar to it, students create a newpaper aligned with your content and standards to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding.

2. EITHER get a shared link their newpaper presentation so anyone in the .ORG can view or submit their presentation in the form as a file from Drive. Students retain the rights to the original and a copy is created for me.

3. Submit the link or upload the slides presentation here or click the Request A Badge link in the menu.

4. Be sure to specify your content area and/or the purpose why it was created.
