AnswerGarden is a web-based tool that is self described as a minimalistic online feedback/brainstorming tool. It works in any browser, which makes it a great BYOT tool! Responses can be moderated and also limited to 20 or 40 characters, which results in concise answers. Answer form a word cloud, with most common answers are displayed in a larger font.

- Collaborative Brainstorming as a whole class activity or student-led small group activity

- ELA / Literature: Ask for examples of figures of speech (alliteration, metaphors).
- ESOL: Ask for words that describe an object, time of year, etc.
