Paper slides is a very simple activity that allows student to demonstrate their learning, creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills in one product. You'll find all of the information that you'll need to get started with Paper slides in the presentation below and also be sure to look through the BCSS Digital Learning YouTube playlist of student-created products.

Be sure to read ALL of the notes and requirements below.
1. If you're new to Paper Slides, go through the presentation on the right and watch the video explanations and student-created products.
2. You, and possibly fellow teachers, create a Paper Slide video (see NOTE below).
3. EITHER:
A. Save the video to your Google Drive and share it in the .ORG. You'll paste the link to the video into the form in the same blank where you explain the focus of the video.
B. Upload your video to your YouTube channel and submit the link to the video in the form in the same blank where you explain the focus of the video.
4. Complete the Badge form here or click the Request A Badge link in the menu.
1. Be SURE the recorded video is NOT upside down or on its side. Practice with the phone or iPad first to ensure the movie is recorded correctly.
2. Record in landscape mode, not portrait!!!
PLEASE be sure your video includes all of the following:
1. Title slide / Credit Slide with the FIRST NAME ONLY of students who created the presentation. These can be separated into two different slides.
2. Content slides should be MOSTLY visual. The image should take up most of the paper. Minimal words. The students should have a script that is off camera.
3. This should be a TEACHER creation - both images and voices!!
