A student-created My Simpleshow, can reach the Modification Level on SAMR. If the end-product is a result of student collaboration and is published for a wide audience where feedback can be given, it can reach the Redefinition level.

My Simpleshow is a content creation site that allows you to create a video with simple black and white images, music and narration based on a script you write. Simpleshow focuses on the words in your script to suggest images that will best help to convey your message. From there, you can use their images, find new ones or upload your own. The final product can be downloaded and/or published to various video sharing sites, such as YouTube.
My Simpleshow provides scaffolding for the video creation process with templates that can be used to help guide the process of your video creation. This site is a great tool that allows you to explain your thinking, define your argument, summarize a story, explain a process and more.
To earn this badge, you must create at least a 1 MINUTE long Simpleshow that can be used to explain a topic, process, summarize a story, etc. The product can be a teacher product or a student product. You will need to submit a SHARED link from the My Simpleshow site OR publish it to YouTube and submit a YouTube link.
Unfortunately, this is no longer an option in My Simpleshow. You can share from their site or upload your video to YouTube.
TO EARN THIS BADGE
1. Go to Simpleshow and click Login. Login with your Google account.
2. Create your movie or have a student create a movie. It should be at least 1 MINUTE long.
3. Copy your SHARED link to your video from My Simpleshow or a link to your video in YouTube to submit in the form.
4. Complete the Badge form here or click the Request A Badge link in the menu.
5. Submit a link to your video.
