SAMR / 4 C's
Tricider is a another great web-based tool to engage your students in the process of brainstorming for decision-making. The system allows you as the teacher to ask a question, to which students propose ideas. From there, students can give instant feedback, adding pros and cons to each suggested solution to the initial question. In the end, students vote on the solution they liked best. You can test out a Tricider board using this link.
Classroom Examples of Tricider in Use
The MOST important aspect of Tricider is to make SURE you're using it as it is MEANT to be used. If the intent to to simply post ideas, Padlet or Dotstorming is a better choice. Tricider should be used to generate ideas / answers based on a given topic while giving students the opportunity to BOTH react to others AND vote on their favorite responses.
