What is Screencasting? Simply put, it's when you record your movements on your screen with audio and possibly video commentary.
When we initially consider screencasts, we may think the only use is for creating tutorials for websites or for flipped learning. Although those are probably the two most common uses of screencasts, they aren't the only applications for recording your screen. Screencasting can also be done by students!

TO EARN THIS BADGE
1. Create a screencast for a topic / concept / skill in your content area.
2. Copy the link to the completed screencast.
3. Complete the Badge form here or click the Request A Badge link in the menu.
4. Submit a link to your screencast and don't forget to tell how it connects to your content area and grade level.
This MUST be a teacher-created screencast.

You may use any screencasting tool that you feel most comfortable using. Here are a few options:
Screencastify is a screencasting extension for Google Chrome. Access at the Chrome Web Store and follow directions for adding this extension.
Screencast-O-Matic or Jing (download) are also screencasting tools that you may want to consider.
