Amuria is home to many different cultures and people. It’s a place where freedom of religion and equality exist. A place where people can call it home. This gives an opportunity for others to join Amuria for a place to live. Even though, freedom of religion is allowed not many are practiced. This is also home of the Ukugan people and Amurian, who have a very close cultural tie. They even host regional, cross-national events to celebrate Ukugan culture. The government is committed to the advancement and protection of all its people and have been proud supporters of this tribe. The Ukugan Region is also the home to several unique species of wildlife protected under the regulations by the Amurian government. The diversity of animals and plants attracts many from all around the world which causes many new culture and people to clash.
Currently, Amuria welcomes many new cultures and people to visit or stay. But having so many entering the state will cause an issue. This is a main issue because it will be more expensive to support these immigrants. Having that said it may benefit to restrict who comes in the state. Since social forms and safety net for these new immigrants will cost us more and our main priority is the advancement and protection of our people and tribes that are being supported. It matters because our people comes first since they put their faith in our government to protect their rights and homes. Also, since Amuria has tension with Kurgan and Khulan, it’s a problem as well because we want to avoid any more complications with them and creating way for restrictions on who’s allowed to enter the state. But if there a way for everyone to benefit without restricting so many people from entering the state. It’s a win for everyone.
Creating a policy that benefits all and a welcoming place. A method for that to happen is having everyone to do their part and participate. One way for that is introducing a Nordic Model. A “Nordic Model is a term [that] captures [a] unique combination of free-market capitalism and social benefits…. These benefits are funded by taxpayers and administered by the government for the benefits of all [its] citizens.” (3) For this to happen Amuria’s citizens must have full faith/trust in the government to work together. This will create an equal opportunity for immigrants to have chance and help the state to thrive. Nordic model gives a chance for equality and social flexibility. But for this to work everyone must know that the public must be willing to pay taxes and that everyone must work. This will help our industries to thrive and help the economy grow. With the help of immigrants working, it will create a place that eventually will make the state “go green” and advance new technology as well. Establishing a Nordic model introduced a method to give out incentives for everyone to participate and generate equal opportunity. Like, adding free education and health care. Immigrants have a right to come in our state but with restrictions added to it. For example, having to stay in the state for refuge/asylum reasons, seeking for higher wage rates, better employment opportunities, or educational opportunities. This will help decide how many immigrants to enter the state within valid reason. Also, for those immigrants that crossed the border and stay in our state must do the paperwork to become a citizen of the state and show that they are willing to do the work to stay. Like paying taxes, having stayed a certain number of years living in the state, apply for citizenship, etc. Establishing these restrictions will provide a good direction within the government and create new policies within. Also having immigrants will help the economy grow a ton because they make up the workforce/labor of the state, so we rely on them to produce the work. Amuria has a lot of opportunity in the labor/work force since we are aiming to go green which leaves opportunities in fishing, manufacturing, and farming industries. Amuria is a social democracy where we are a socialist form of government achieved by a democratic means and values social equality. Introducing this policy will support that ideology and answer the problem of immigration. Amuria aim to provide a government where we create policies to help everyone and make changes if needed. Also having agencies that will help to create ideas or changes to policies. Making sure that voices are being heard. This will promote a prosperous place where social equality and protection are achieved.
The Bush institute delivers valid reason on immigration. They express that “immigration fuels the economy. When immigrants enter the labor force, they increase the productive capacity of the economy and raise GDP [and] immigrants grease the wheels of the labor market by flowing into industries and areas where there is a relative need for workers.” (1) Even other countries have stated that “immigration leads to [a] greater cultural diversity, which gives [the] country a more diverse and inclusive feel.” (4) Seeing that immigration does have impact on other countries and demonstrates growth. It’s important to have a concise and straightforward policy where it aligned with our ideals and form equality. This helps to get a direction in establish the policy.
Amuria aims to protect its citizen and homes. But it also aims to create a place for social equality. Immigration does provide a problem with many to come over but have advantages to our state. Like economy growth, diversity, education opportunity, and jobs. Amuria, we have a saying that “in equality we find the noblest fight.”
