The Capital is Kaluga and the commerce region spans to the wealthy port of Ochyor.
Amuria's diverse economy draws upon fishing, manufacturing, and mining industries; but is phasing out mining, eliminated fossil fuel-based manufacturing, and is Zemia's center for Green technology.
Amuria was victorious in the Great Northern War against both opposing fronts (Kurgan and Khulna) a decade ago. The territories of the three nations returned to status quo. Both Kurgan and Khulna lost significant economic and military resources, but Amuria benefited from its earlier stockpiles and trade partners. Tensions remain between Amuria and both neighboring nations.
Although Amuria allows freedom of religion, it has very few people who practice faith. Some say the state religion is Science.

The far west of this region has more trees than residents. The lumber industry there has dominated Zemia lumber trade for decades and is the most lucrative export for Amuria.
The ancient tree stands have been greatly thinned but innovative cultivation practices ensure that the same great species of Northern oak thrive.
Popular towns and markets can be found in the northern parts of this region. The bustling ports export our lumber and lumber-related goods and receive other fine commodities from across Zemia.
The Nord coast is characterized by steep cliffs that overlook a vast ocean. Many of the Nord Coast residents are avid fishermen and seamen. With coastal winds bearing down from the north, the residents also have a deep respect for Mother Nature and a hereditary instinct for survival.
Deep in the coves and edges of the cliffs are important minerals and resources that are mixed by various Amurian corporations. For years, coal mining prevailed until the rare earth materials were found and the nation turned to sustainable resources.
The Nord Coastal folk know the bounty of their hills and fought valiantly to protect it in the Great Northern War.
This region is also home to a small industrial sector responsible for creating many of the automobiles and electronics that the nation exports.
Throughout its history, the Nord Coast has propelled Amuria’s mineral resource economy into the next productive era.
The Ukugan region is a heavily forested tundra left largely under-developed by the Amurian government. It is home of the Ukugan People, and the Amurian and Kurgan Ukugans have close cultural ties. They even host regional, cross-national events celebrating Ukugan culture.

The preservation of this natural treasure will always be a priority.
Amuria is Zemia’s home for GoGreen practice.
Through the innovative Power Corridor, we set examples for other nations to become sustainable and curb climate change. This high tech corridor emphasizes “green” and “eco-friendly” practices while ensuring an abundant supply of energy for businesses and residents.
Several corporate headquarters that emphasize these practices can be found here, and there is a strong culture for recycling and innovation.
The massive soy farms produce the majority of soy-related products in Zemia and the manufacturing post ensures that these goods are exported efficiently.
The power corridor is also home to one of the most advanced space exploration labs in the world, responsible for establishing the first Zemian International Space Station and achieving incredible feats for the field of astronomy.
A world famous astronomy museum is built nearby, which is updated constantly as new information is discovered and recorded by the astronauts and researchers.
