Driving to School and Parking

1. Students driving any motorized vehicle to school must park (and lock) their vehicles in a parking stall in the parking lot west of the school.  Students are not permitted to park on the grass, in the Horseshoe, faculty staff lots (the small parking area north of the school and the parking area west of the south wing) or on city streets including Johnson Street from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2. No parking is allowed in the bus transfer area on the south side of the main parking lot.  This includes no parking between the designated signs.

3. All vehicles parked on school property, or the adjoining areas are subject to searches including a K-9 search in accordance with the rules developed by the School Board on the use of Police K-9 Units

4. Snowmobiles should be driven to and from school using the area next to Highway 15 or Johnson St. and parked south of the vocational area.

5. City and state ordinances will be enforced in the school parking lots.

Note: For Each Offense:  A report to parents and Law Enforcement agencies may follow.  Vehicles that represent a danger or a constant nuisance will be towed at the owner’s expense, and a possible ticket may be issued.
