Offenses & Consequences

BUS OFFENSES:

Spitting; excessive noise; horseplay/mischief/distracting unsupervised eating and drinking; littering; leaving seat or standing without permission from the driver; profanity; verbal abuse; harassment; obscene gestures; possession of unacceptable material; riding unassigned bus; disobedience to the driver, para educator; vandalism to the bus; tampering with bus equipment; inappropriate cell phone use; or other offenses as reported by the bus driver or administrator.


CONSEQUENCES:

  • 1st Offense: Referral or up to 5 days of suspension from bus service.

  • 2nd Offense: Up to 5 days suspension. Possible loss of all bus services.

  • 3rd Offense: Up to 10 days suspension. Possible loss of all bus services.

  • 4th Offense: Loss of bus service.


Note: Guardians will be contacted at all levels

School officials reserve all rights to remove bus services at any time. The bus and the bus stops are extensions of the school day. The bus driver has the authority to assign seats. The harassment Policy, Weapons Policy, bullying Policy and all other policies of ISD No. 2752 will be strictly enforced on school buses.
