Vacations, College Visits, and Non-school Related Education Opportunities
A student who wishes to go on vacation, a college visit or attend an educational activity outside of school programs, for 3 (three) or more school days, will need to have a Pre-Arranged Absence form (available in the office) completed and returned to the Main Office, 1 school day prior to the departure.
Incomplete or late forms may result in the absence being marked unexcused
All absences occurring from vacations, college visits (more than 3 [three] days) and other educational opportunities (not school-related) will count towards a student’s total number of 10 (ten) allowable absences per semester.
All students are expected to complete state mandated testing. Students may be marked unexcused for vacations and college visits occurring on state mandated testing dates.
