Safer Internet Day 

Together for a better internet.  

We did lots of activities to raise awareness about keeping safe when using the internet.


All children took part in lots of different activities.

In Year 4 they had a debate about different topics and issues related to the internet.  They shared their experiences of staying sage online.

The video gives children (KS2) a very clear depiction of the potential dangers of using social media.  It invites children to consider how much access they allow people into their personal lives via social media by suggesting that posting details about where you spend your time, what you like doing and photos of yourself is like inviting people in to your bedroom. 

The Police came into school on Safer Internet Day 2018 to talk to KS2 children about using the Internet and Social Media safely.
