Family Support
Our Family Support Worker is Mrs Angela Tanner.
Mrs Tanner's role in school is to assist children and families in accessing support they may need. She works with many different families for many different reasons as sometimes we all need a little extra support with something. Mrs Tanner is here to help you with any concerns or questions you may have about your child or family in general, or if you just need to unload about the challenges of being a parent.
Mrs Tanner says " I am not here to judge, I am here to listen, advise and try and help where I can. If I cannot help, I may know someone who can.”
Mrs Tanner can offer you and your family support on many issues including:
School attendance
Assist in completing paperwork and forms
Referrals to Early Help
Signpost to other services available
Benefits / housing / debt
Parenting support, including behaviours and routines.
Transition support
Attendance and support at school and other agency meetings
Access to training courses
