Where possible P.E lessons are linked to other areas of learning where possible.
All pupils have access to 30 minutes of activity outside of the PE curriculum that supports their physical fitness while promoting social confidence.
Teachers teach two weekly P.E lessons. One to focus on skills and the to develop skills within a sport area.
Pupils experience a broad and balanced curriculum, allowing children to access a wide variety of high quality PE and sports provision, including swimming, which focuses on the fundamental skills and then moving onto skills and activities that can lead to different sports.
Pupils are given the opportunity to participate in competitive sport through inter- and intra-school competitions.
Experience opportunities that are physically-demanding activities outside of the curriculum, supporting their health, fitness and mental well-being.
Pupils are given access to extra- curricular physical clubs to support their physical and mental development.
For SEND learners we;
