After School Club at Hazelwood Academy

Our After School Club provides high quality, reliable care from the end of the school day through until 5pm.  Children participate in a number of activities on offer which can include outdoor play, creative play and collaborative games. Children are provided with a drink and snack. 

Our After School Club is proving to be extremely popular due not just due to the activities and games but because of the excellent care provided by our friendly, welcoming staff.

Mrs Wozniak and Mrs Brandon are both experienced classroom teaching assistants who are truly enthusiastic about ensuring the children are happy and occupied. They, are always willing to go the extra mile to provide the best possible experience for the children.

You can select from three sessions:

• 3.15-4.05   £4  (includes activities, snack and drinks)

• 4.05-5.00 £4  (includes activities, drinks and a more substantial snack)

• Full session 3.15 -5.00 £8 (includes activities, drinks and a a more substantial snack)
  
  

This means children who attend another school club e.g. football are then able to join After School Club at the end of their activity from 4.05

Children are offered a variety of snacks including of fruit, toast and toppings, popcorn, crumpets and sometimes even cake. 

Registration:

To register your child for after school club please complete a 'Registration form & Parent Contract'  (attached below or available from the school office). This provides us with the essential data we need to be able to care for your child and keep them safe, including details of any known allergies, collection arrangements and other special needs.  

When you have completed and signed your registration forms you will be provided with the full terms and conditions these form part of the After School Club contract.

To book sessions:

Please access Parent Pay and select the child you wish to make bookings for. Select Book meals and places > Select the Afterschool Club Session that you wish to make a booking for> Select the week to view/ book > Select Make or view bookings.

You will then be presented with a booking screen. Make the required bookings.  A summary will be displayed at the bottom of the page with any previous unpaid bookings shown in red. Review the booking summary, and then select Confirm booking. 

Please note we encourage people to book their sessions well in advance. Limited spaces are available in oredr to ensure we maintain staffing ratios and can fulfil safeguarding requirements.  Therefore it will not always be possible to accommodate last minute requests.

Payment:

All sessions should be paid for in full on ParentPay when booked in advance. 

WARNING: Any bookings must be confirmed and (if required) paid for within 2 hours of selecting them. Failure to do so will result in the bookings being automatically cancelled and your session will not be reserved which may mean your child misses out.

Late charges: 

All children should be collected promptly at the end of the session. Failure to do so will incur a penalty fee per child per 15 minute period they are late. More details can be found in the Terms and Conditions.
