Letters Home

We regularly send home communications regarding uniform, trips, news, and events.These will generally be via email from our Arbor information system. Please make sure all your details are kept up to date to ensure you don't miss any important communications.  Inform the school Office of any changes.

As well as the academy website, we often post to our Facebook page and X.

Class Dojo

All parents have access to the Class Dojo app which allows them to track rewards, progress and access photographs of work. This app also allows parents to communicate with class teachers and members of the Senior Leadership Team.

Interactive Learning Diary (ILD)

All Nursery parents have access to the ILD app which allows them to track their child's progress in development matters and supporting photographs. This app also allows parents to add observations from home to share with the early Years staff.

Parent Consultation Meetings

We hold formal  parent consultations threetimes a year. We believe that this provides you with the best opportunity to discuss individual's progress with class teachers. We are also happy to arrange meetings with individual parents at a convenient time if you there are any matters you wish to discuss

Newsletters

There is a regular Headteacher's newsletter containing a variety of news, advice and information designed to support parents and children outside of the academy. Copies will be emailed to you every other week are always available on the Newsletters page of the academy website. Paper copies can viewed in the school Reception area or be requested from our main office.

Notice boards

We have two large outdoor notice boards around the school which contain information on forthcoming events and other pertinent information about the academy.

Assemblies and Productions

We hold regular whole school celebration assemblies and classes hold termly Express events to which we invite parents and carers  to share in the celebration of our children's learning. Other highlights of the year include the Early Years Nativity, Remembrance Assembly and Leavers Production. 

Annual Pupil Reports

All parents and carers will receive a detailed report of their child's progress in the second half of the summer term.
