Nursery New Starters Induction Information

Welcome to Hazelwood Academy. This web page is dedicated to parents who have a child starting in our nursery classes in September 2020. 

Sparrows is our classroom for children aged 2-3 years . We run two Sparrow sessions each day, a morning session 8:30 am- 11:30 am and an afternoon session 12:15 pm-3:15 pm.  We take children with two year old funding and parents who wish to pay for their children's sessions. 

Hummingbirds is our classroom for children aged 3-4 years. We offer 3 different sessions, a morning session  8:30 am- 11:30 am, an afternoon session 12:15 pm- 3:15 pm and an all day session 9:00 am-3:00 pm. We take children with 15 hour funding, 30 hour funding and give parents the option to pay for additional sessions including lunch.

This web page will provide an induction for both you, and your child. We will upload videos and key information for you as a parent, so you feel prepared for your child to start Nursery in September. Members of the Early Years Team will post videos on here each week so the children can become familiar with some of the staff.
