To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, of most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can perform. – Theodore H. White
Question:
A big part of communication is dealing with 'hard' topics, which sometimes includes going against the "grain" of our company's, department's and teammate's thinking / current position. How can we 1) create an atmosphere where all of us feel safe communicating "hard' topics? 2) What can each of us (as individuals) do to get better at dealing with difficult topics?
