Huddle Leaders: DB & HD (Becky, Dan, Dennis, Jeanne, Kevin, & Lorraine)
Preparation: 30 Minutes before the huddle the follow email was sent to dts@svvsd.org. This should have resulted in everyone that works for the CIO getting the email. Unfortunately, it gave us the opportunity to fix our distribution lists...
DTS Huddle Advisory
Location: Today's huddle will be in the back room behind Karen's area.
Time: Friday, April 6, 2012, 1:45pm - Please be on time as we have a lot planned.
Activity: Maze - We will be revisiting the maze activity from the last time the DB/HD team ran the huddle.
Instructions:
- The goal of the activity is for our entire team to safely reach the other side of the maze by finding and following the one and only safe path through the squares within the time limit.
- Team members step one at a time into the squares, starting with the first row, until the safe square is found. (We will again be using the two-color paddle to indicate safe squares but this time red is safe and green is not.)
- Each person must have a chance on the grid before anyone goes twice.
- Team members are not allowed to skip rows or columns. The path can go in any direction.
Thanks,
Becky, Dan, Dennis, Jeanne, Kevin, & Lorraine
1st Attempt
Video for the first is not available but the group was not successful. Most notable, the meanings of red and green had not been generally noticed by the group.
Communication and Planning
The group spent a couple minutes discussing communication and planning to be better prepared for the next attempt.
2nd Attempt
The team complete the puzzle in just over four minutes.
3rd Attempt
The team completed the puzzle in three and a half minutes.
