This week in social group, the student did a turn and talk discussion on peer blurt outs and interruptions.
Students were given four questions to discuss in a small group.
Each group discussed each prompt with a personal experience and reflected on how things could have been different and how it affected them and their learning.
After they finished their turn and talk, the whole group went to the carpet and talked about what they discussed and how it was the same or different for each group.
Both groups had such great conversations and everyone used respectful and flexible thinking while having discussions with their peers.
