Empathy: Show You Care

This week in social group we discussed empathy and what it means.

We watched a quick video and then discussed how the characters in the video showed empathy or ways they could have showed empathy to their peers.

We then filled out the next page in our booklet answered questions like:

• Why is empathy (caring) important?
• How do you feel when other people understand what you're going through?
• List some actions that show empathy.

We shared our ideas and then completed an exit ticket discussing a time we showed empathy and how it was helpful.
