This week in social group we discussed showing support to our friends and what that looks like.
We began by doing a flash share to review finding something in common, respecting others, and inviting or including everyone. We each shared a time this week we did this in our class.
We then filled out the page in our booklet about supporting each other. Questions we answered were:
We did a share of our answers then did some role playing to show supportive vs. non supportive behaviors.
We then completed an exit ticket to tell about a time when a friend supported us and how it made us feel. Everyone did a nice job listening to other group members when they were sharing.
There will be no social group next week but the following week we will discuss saying sorry and how everyone makes mistakes.
