Distance learning demands that student ownership, as always, be central to your education. The use of personal devices during this time may present challenges as technology becomes a daily instrument for learning. It should be noted that students are trusted to use technology responsibly, and in addition to ethical use of cell phones and computers, students are expected to eliminate distractions during class, such as tabs, chats, and websites that are irrelevant to the learning. If you struggle to do this, remember that your teacher and advisor are more than happy to communicate and brainstorm methods to help you.
