Exhibitions are an integral part of The New School’s curriculum. Exhibitions are a public demonstration of knowledge and skills before an audience of peers, faculty and interested adults. They are a form of authentic assessment used to evaluate your understanding of the material and your research, presentation and thinking skills. Students in High School answer the essential question of their morning module class; Middle School students answer the essential question of the afternoon module class. HS students present exhibitions four times a year; MS students present twice a year. HS seniors also present a Senior Exhibition to be eligible to graduate from The New School.
For more specific information, HS students should read about HS Exhibitions and MS students should read about MS Exhibitions.
Additionally, the Exhibition Guide provides detailed information about exhibitions at The New School.
