Students are encouraged to talk openly and honestly with your teachers or advisor if you have problems or concerns (community issues, social or emotional upsets, etc.) or if you are feeling uncertain about what is being taught or expected. Teachers are generally happy to meet with you during lunch and Essential Time, or before or after school, when scheduled in advance.
Your parents/guardians may schedule a meeting with one of your teachers (or all those you wish to have involved) by sending an email request to the particular teacher or to your advisor. When scheduling a meeting, it is a good idea to bring a written list of your questions/topics/concerns so you will be sure to cover everything on your list.
