Exhibitions are public demonstrations of knowledge and proficiency before an audience of peers and adults. Students demonstrate their understanding of their coursework as they answer the Essential Question around which their history and science classes were designed. The student should present that answer in his or her own words, with clarity and good organization. The exhibition should include the following elements:
Middle School School history and science teachers will work on research methods, and presentation skills and techniques with their students.
Students present one Exhibition in Science and one in History each year. Parents and guardians are invited to attend student Exhibitions, and their attendance is not restricted to their own child’s Exhibition.
