2013-14 District Goals

The attached document details the district and building goals based on the following six improvement areas.

GOAL #1:            All students K-11 will achieve at high levels in reading, as measured by the Iowa Assessment so that students are prepared for success beyond high school.

GOAL #2:           All students K-11 will achieve at high levels in mathematics, as measured by the Iowa Assessment so that students are prepared for success beyond high school.

GOAL #3:           All students in grade 3-11 will achieve at high levels in science, as measured by the Iowa Assessment so that students are prepared for success beyond high school.

GOAL #4:           All students and teachers will increase the use of technology in learning and instruction for reading, mathematics, science and 21st century skills. 

GOAL #5:           The district will implement the Iowa Common Core.

GOAL #6:           All students will benefit from a positive school environment that is conducive to learning.
