2014-2015 Student Fees

Superintendent Wells will lead a discussion with the board about student fees.  All parents pay taxes to support the school, yet are charged for an essential item, books.  August and returning to school causes families financial stress.  Parents must pay for school lunches, school supplies, new clothes, activity passes and book fees.  Superintendent Wells recommends eliminating book fees.

We will be examining our lunch program through the strategic planning process.  There will be some recommendations to expand the amount and variety of food for students.  This will result in an increase in costs.  The board will discuss raising costs cover additional expenses.
