Unable to Enroll Student in Class or Group
The student was enrolled in the class/group, but their status in the class/group shows Waiting, not Enrolled.
Typically, this is due to the Max Enroll number for the class/group having reached its limit.
Max Enroll is a required field that must be entered when creating the class/group.
Max Enroll can be edited from the Class Data/Group Data panel in the class/group record. Click into the Max Enroll field and increase the number by typing in the new number or using the stepper arrows, then Save.
If the Max Enroll number is passed, all students enrolled beyond that number will be enrolled with a status of Waiting.
Waiting students can have hours added to their class/group record but cannot be exited from the class/group until they are updated to show an enrolled status.
Waiting students will not automatically be updated to Enrolled if you increase the Max Enroll number, as the database cannot know which Waiting students to enroll in what order, so they must be manually updated.
To update a Waiting student, increase the Max Enroll number, if needed. Click the Edit (eye) icon to the right of the student record in the Enrollment panel of the class/group. Change the Enroll Status from Waiting to Enrolled and Save.
