Work Order Quality Data

Add or edit quality characteristics into a Bluestreak work order, utilizing pertinent quality detail fields.

00:04 In this video we're going to talk about work order quality data, so we'll go to a work order which you already have open here and you can see on the work order that I have a control plan attached and all this particular control plans was built from order process when the process was that it's so. It was built so you can't. You have a couple options here is you can edit, so if for some reason in this case I didn't, when I set up the control plan, I did add a characteristic, so I go in and sign a characteristic. Now it's variable final hardness variable and I just put it in my range and it will save the changes. Ah, there is two types of control plans available or quality characteristics available. One is a variable which is in this case as a hardness range and then the other is a attribute attribute being a statement, a pass fail, good, bad, and I'll show you how to do that as you add one here.

01:01 So both can be edited because it's modifiable on the order. If you need to add a characteristic, just add, pick your characteristic type from your drop-down list. I'm going do case step the effective, uh, you can put it on an instructions here if you'd like. Um, it's not required. I would recommend that under your workflow anyway. So then you have scrolling down a screen, you have tests, types, variable, which will be a range of numeric values or an attribute. We'll do an example of both here, adding, um, so the variable here at a variable. And then I picked my unit of measure. I'm going to measure eight inches. And then I'll use the advanced quality futures alternate merit badge value sampling size. If you're using sampling plans, this is where you can set, this is part of our advanced quality. You could set up a sampling plan requirement.

01:52 I'm just gonna leave it as a single sample. Then decimals of this is the default setting on a site that the site is set for zero decibels. But if I want to show to the third decimal place, I just type in [inaudible] and then uh, I put in my lower Spec, um, and my upper spec. Now you'll notice as I tabbed, I'm skipping the control target and lower control target number control. So I'm on the first one. If I want to go to the upper SPEC, which are the two fields that were be recommended, I can just tab across to them. And then if I want to know how to Spec condition, no cert approval, that means this characteristic is going to be your task within range to get this onto a document or to get it passed through the system without a concession. Granted, we can require equipment, not necessarily here.

02:45 And I'll cover more of this stuff in advanced control plans, um, SBC controlled and then using that will cover that other checkbox here that'll be here by normal exclude from shipper. Mitch means, if I check that, it will be excluded from the shipper. Depending on your report off your report doesn't show quality characteristics for the shipping document. Don't even worry about it. It won't show up. Can be skipped means you do not have to enter values and then the SBC sampling size as part of the bad quality and there's also exclude from star so you might have characteristics that you have on a order that you do not want to show on a server, but you want to collect and just clicked the box there and it would hide it from the cert and then insert to save. And there it is. And then we'll just add one more here. In this time

Sampling size, same requirements. You can do sampling plans as well, and the pass fail results so it failed to cross and pay us. So whatever the requirement would be here, positive negative responses. Once again, don't want to Spec a is active, exclude from all the rest of the checkboxes that are seen in that. On the insert will save it and I'll cancel it from there is I don't want it on this particular order. I'm just going to clean my appearance. I can remove this. You can remove or rebuild a control plan on a work order as needed, as long as there is no readings entered or characteristics entered into the system, and you can also enter values from here. We'll cover that a little more detail, but just say no. You can do it is by ad results. In this case, I have a specification, warren, and going on that I'm not qualified so we won't add one here, but that's all part of specification library. Just so you know that you can add characteristics and edit characteristics from a work order.
