Production Pathway - Indirect Labor
Video Text
00:04 We're going to be talking about indirect labor, indirect labor reporting will start and set up on this sort of the setup tab when I've already got it open here. So I just set up. There's indirect labor, indirect operations, and we'll get them in a second. First place I want to go is two roles are whites, so you'll roles and I have the tab open here so you can filter to a role of labor. So you have index, indirect labor, create, delete, can add users a indirect labor read indirect relater updates. So use the indirectly read, make sure you have the roles assigned. The direct labor role here, by the way, is a feature of load tracking, so it's not a required for indirect labor. So we'll get off of that just so we cover that. Uh, the next place you will want to go to make jet indirectly we're working is under setup indirect operations.
01:06 You'll need to set up indirect operations for people to track time to. So in my example here, we have a code indirect, one, two, three, and four maintenance for clean up launch. You know your naming convention here to add one is click the add button. You get the code, the description area, cost center insert to save another one, so you have that. So you've set up the roles, you've set up the indirect operations that then move over to production pathway. I'll tracking is required to have this going on. So if you want to track, and this is not low load related to the doors I have up on my screen here under the utilities here to top of the screen, you don't even have to have a available, but you can have indirect labor start intellect able and it's also available under each quarter operation, indirect labor starting, and we're going to go through the utilities at the top of the screen to start labor.
02:16 It gives me the little drop-down menu. Indirect Labor operation. You pick your type. Well, it's cleanup, um, indirect labor type. Sorry I didn't cover that under the setup types, table lists types for indirect, so you have a tendance or overhead will just pick overhead. You can assign it to a piece of equipment. This is part of your equipment list in your system or not, and you can do a start time and then come back and just let it run. Or you can do just a total time run if you so choose to start and end it. Um, but you can give a description in the description field when you pick your user roles controlled. So if you have the role to pick any user, you can do it now. Otherwise you control that to just, you're just that user can add themselves. They click the OK button on the indirect labor is started.
03:11 Once, you know, once they're done, you go back to your indirect labor utilities tab, either under the header or under any order in and indirect labor and at the end button. And then it'll give you a list of all intellect, labor running by user and you want. And you know, you want to edit it. There's an edit pencil here. You can, you know, types and starting 10 times better than another description. OK? That, um, you can do, you know, so you could have picked a total run time. Errors. What I was trying to point out, you know my total time was, or he can come in, job done now, click it, OK, it's done. It's off the screen and it is now saved in the system now. And we can get out of production pathway. And also we can go back to the home screen.
04:03 Now if you want to see indirect labor under setup, there's category under production for indirect labor. Come in to that and it'll show you. This is by date range. I was picking today's date. You can use the calendar to pick whatever range you want. Um, then you can see the indirect labor types logged in user and it's showing the maintenance type underneath that. If you want to edit that, you know you're going to this equipment and description, OK? That there's like other fields, columns, you know, if you want to show the opposite description, you can just showing that as an example. That's under the column control. That's up to, you know, that's, that's your discretion on what you're selling shoes. There's no reports built into the system at this time. But um, if you want to export this to excel spreadsheet, you just export to excel, export CSV, then you can export the whole file. Um, you know, this will have grouping capabilities, you know, group by. I only have one, so it's grouping by me, which she had multiples are by the users and what not to get a report out of this. So that's the gist of a indirect labor is not tied to a work order. It's just another way to clock an employees time into the system. And all the reporting is going to be under the setup. Indirectly we're tab and if you need a report outside of that report can be built absolutely.
