05 In this video we're gonna briefly go over rapid ad work order, so under your my once logged in, of course Sunday, your rapid ed tab. By the way, if you go modules were quarter ad, it will take you to the same page. We all work. Order the initial work orders done from the rapid ad page, work order add or rapid ad work order the same place, so when you get up the screen up, you pick your customer types and select and I'll pop up notes. There's an order entry note that can pop up from the costumer, blessed with a notice here that there's also some other pop ups. These are system settings, overdue invoices. This customer has overdue invoices. Here's the warning, and if you want to open them, you can click on a link for past two invoices. There's also a warning this. This next warning has three, three settings on it.
56 Outstanding invoices exceeding their credit limit, so this can be set to no tasks does nothing in this particular site. It's set to a warning only and the third option is a hard stop. No words, no order could be entered. If the hard stop is in place so there would have to be addressed before it should have the order, so let's what's popping up there. All right, so you have your customer you put in and you can use the notes for the customer. Can the data in is when you click the rapid at today's date and time. Now we're defaulting in from data to false. The requested promised date on this particular site. Just an example, they can be left blank. That can be made required, whatever you want. And of course they're completely editable through the calendar settings here. Shield. Turn on and there's, by the way, let's back this up for just a second.
47 I have absolutely every possible part field turned on for this site. So you're probably seeing a lot of data fields that are may not be on your site and that's not a big deal. This is customizable site to site. So you're going to see everything here. We have chillers, shop, tag, um, we call it external reference, but we renamed it on her slate. Chop takes. So if I want to populate that, I can and you know, chop, take one, two, three, four, tracking, quantity number of pieces on your first part, line of the order, 15 parts. If you were tracking by weight, you would enter your tracking quality here as polished rod pumps, thousand pounds, and then you'd select track by weight and then you would get this estimated part quantity field available. Now you'll notice when I tracked by weight, the weight populated to want.
34 So you're tracking by weight, each part weighs one pound and that example. So we'll take that back. Two pieces that I'm going to pick my part number now, type in a p here and what it's picking up, I'm just in the first character search to get this to show off the way I want it to. I have quoted non-customer part what that means, and it's a new feature we added that you can quote apart market is real, but not add it to the database under customer, but you can still get it to attach via the quote mechanism through this feature. So it's a system setting and I'll review that at the end to get that to populate. Now by default it's turned off. So just be aware. So. Well it's um, I'm just going to scroll through my list to find something a little more applicable.
23 All right, so I'm going to pick up my beat [inaudible] here and just select it. Now. One thing to note when you're now it's filtered to that, if I want to clear that I can, um, and it would be open the search field to a blank. If you click on the customer, part number is underlined, it's a hyperlink to the customer part. I click on it, I'm looking at the customer part database. So parts filter to that part under the customer. I can see you have 29 total parts for that, but there's the customer part fields. So you want to make an edit. You could in this case, I don't want to everything else who's just information part description, the process and the alloy. It will also show here non-conformances. So there is conformance is for a part that we show up here where you can click the link and look at them.
11 So I just want to stay with that. I'm defaulting in a blanket purchase order for this particular site. It's a blanket Po. I can default that from the customer level, from the part level or none of the either added or dropped into the description. There's an also an old description field for this particular part. I set up a weight, you know it can be a unit weight or extended, you know, let's say it was a I want to change this buck and a quarter total extended system will figure out the weight from there on for my powder customers and painting customers were using vendors and vendor products. You can then pick your vendor and then you get the list of vendor products and there's also a a part instruction field here that you can populate. Of course anybody that knows me knows I typed terribly, so I want to mask the threads, you know, special instructions.
01 This allows for those industries for simplistic similar processes. Shorter process left us mission. But to put the definition here under their parkfield clicked out of that. There's additional part fields. We have everything turned on. I got to say it over and over again. So there's fields here that, depending on your industry, may not use some of these other ones here that you will use to a product uses for piece that runs into my vin inventory control. This vendor vendor product. I'm going to say, you know, it takes a point [inaudible] and I know for that particular item I set my unit up as Polish, so I'm saying a quarter pound per piece for an inventory Polish job numbers. He codes a lot numbers, packing slip, serial numbers process. Now this part is set up with a process, so it floated in here. It's also set up with an alloy and then right below that it says use default juicy characteristics.
57 It's telling you here you can't do anything with it from this level. It's using a process level control plan for this work order to generate this work, order it just telling you where it's pulling it's controlled plan from. So if it says default, it's pulling it from the data default, if it's a process level or if the part level, and then we get the container quantity defaulting in one, it's a data default. We also have a receiving area if he's truly choose to use it. Nomina I'm going to stages and I want to remember where their stage. So I'm going to say they're an area five. When I say multiple areas of a lot. OK, so the two in there, I'm also putting in a container by default. Um, you can pick from the droplets used as you type it filters or you can just type in what the container is one time container, why add it to the database just to use it.
51 So we allow you under container types, either pick from the list or free text in which you want. Maxfield is container serial number, not very widely used, but if it's necessary you can have a container. Surrey, let them ship via editable, of course is based off your shipping be is your site. I'm just going to change that to customer pickup. And then a shipping address that was set up under the part and or customer level. Not sure analogy. We set up new, either one and there's the park additional information field, surface area receive condition, which is a drop down field. And that works with our supply module for filtering purposes. Alloy farmers, another one that works with our, our, uh, until uh, plan a Max thickness length width, height diameter print revision, cross section prime. Who's the customer was a Boeing appeal part peel. We support two different pills a week, quarter.
46 Um, I always say for a site we're going to do one or the other. We're not want, don't want to try to manage both. So we, we support the order level, appeal this order, it's this po and all parts underneath it. Or we say at the part level we set the PO system data defaults and working through the implementation cycle. We set this up and going forward as well. We're always going to use a park po, not a level field. So we actually turn off that other field part tight. You know, this is, this is part of Intel apart until plant modules apart filtering types of this part type. I'll received hardness, which is also part of her until bla module. So it's this part type, this reasons hardnesses received finish any of these can be I'm filtering mechanisms for [inaudible] plan. Um, then there's linear foot which is a new, uh, data field we've added recently, which is also a pricing metric.
40 In other words, I can set up a number of linear feet per part. Now I can read, label the field to whatever it needs to meet needs to be a square meter, whatever you want to call it. That can, I can do that. Just so you know, it's going to say there's point two per unit might have 15 pieces. It would multiply that out to point [inaudible] linear piece per part in my example. Then there's also a project number field, so I'm to hit continue its saves work or the good cancel, it's just going to cancel it. So in this particular site I'm doing a save to the work order process page. So just FYI, would that'll conclude a repeat part? The next section? I'll do a [inaudible] part, but I just want to go with the date of default here so we can tell the system what work order page to save through when you hit that.
36 Continue on a work order rapid ad. So let's go to have. So let's go to the set up here under system settings. Now there's going to be two different system settings I want to show you. There's find them under order. There's a lot of different system settings that cover order. You can see there's, you know, 52 different ones. So let's go. Let's look under wrap it. Add setting name is what I'm searching filtering on their sixth system setting 6:43. I'm telling it to save to the process page, but here's where you can set it to the container, the general, the parts of process at a quality page or the work order cancel that. The other one will find under the quotes system setting named search, which will be system settings. Seven hundred and 15 show quoted parts in order parts selector to enable that. Just come in to the edit and click the value here to turn it on and OK, and that would turn on that customer or quoted parts that is not a real part showing up in a showing up on a rapid at page.
45 So that'll, that'll cover that part of it. I want to do another section here on rapid it work. Order this time. It's not a real park, not a part I've done for just a piece. I'm going to do something to same deal, wrap it, add work order picked by customer name and you know, there it is. Once again, defaulting in pop up notes. Just cover them so we don't use. So I have to um, their dies because he's not a real part. I just tap out at refreshes. I'm doing a default fields. What's begin? Um, I have a part number that's really a description, so that's fine. I can leave the description blank. All description will be playing or populate up to you. They weighed 25 pounds total, you know, it's getting you to pick your vendor, vendor, product, a coating industry. But I just want to get into populate what fueled journey, but I want to get into the process now.
42 There's a couple of ways to filter for processes from rapid at. The first is the magnifying glass here, which is going to bring up the, uh, uh, process mechanism. OK? So I didn't specify anything other really than a customer on this order. So the first filter, the only filter I'm getting, his customers specified processes only shortlist. What that means is processes that are quoted to the customer. I mean you can turn the filter off and type in a. I want to find everything that has 40 wanting to search it, it gets full list here. So we're just going to cancel that and go back once. Another way to use that filter is, I know the alloy is going to be 40 1:40. So now when I go to the filter, it's doing an alloy filter of 40 1:40 and customer specified. All right? So there's, what it's telling me is there's not a customer process quoted to 40 1:40 on select the customer and search again.
51 Now it looks at the database processes, find me all my processes that are for the loe of 40 1:40 and it gives me the list here and I could pick one of them and of course you can unclick that and search for everything in the database. Let's cancel that again. The, so that's the process filtering mechanism. Next to it is the system settings or setup process. They'll think you set up processing. So we're gonna just take you to the set up process page. I'll have to pick your process a select on that. So that's where it's going to take you. The last little item here is the [inaudible] builder. We'll cover that in um, another demo because that's a little more in-depth process building on the fly to work coordinators. It's gotta be configured pretty much to do that. It allows you to configure it and we'll cover that in another session.
42 Or if you know the process, you can just type, type it in and it starts filtering. I just want to have to, excuse me, picked my 40 1:40 treat. I got one container. It's in a wood box that's in a bag. OK, I don't have bad egg in there, so I just type it in everything else. I don't need any other information on this particular order. Continue it and it'll create my work order and then I can, you know, go through, review my work quarter. So that will cover two variations you have from a rapid ed's screen. Always will say you should be picking a process, whatever that process may do beat when you're adding an order, but repeat part, build it in the background, all the information that you can possibly store in the department. We'll pull forward to work order or it's a one off part and I'm just typing in the information I know. So that'll conclude rapid work worker.
