Video Text
03 Um, in this video we're going to review how to use it delivered on a previous video. We reviewed how to set it up, so we're just going to go through usage of it. Deliver here so I know the modules I'd deliver open and it opens up to a shippers screen. View my cue and we'll cover them all here. So I want to do, I'm going to play the role of a driver in the first example. So I'm going to add shippers and I'm going to add by ship via. Now they've already set this up to ship via by logged on user. I'm on, I'm the via my ship via his truck one and it gives you a list of all shippers available to be delivered by default. They're all selected, but I just want to cherry pick. I'm going to grab two of these for one to three he treat or two of these for channel, um, and I'm going to add them to my queue.
01 And then the, the list refreshes. So you can pick more if you so choose. You can always, if you're doing, uh, I'm doing must multiple. Um, I want to pick from multiple ship as you can on the fly, change your ship, the on the screen and I can add know I'm going to add to that one, all that anc machine here and add it to my queue as well. So once they, the drivers had them add it to their to go back and then what I recommend they do is they change shipper status would be their next step. So they go in and I want to mark all on truck. Now this can, this can be, do a notification, you know, by want to send an email or text notification, that's what that function will help you do. So once they have them all added to their, uh, their truck, they're ready to go and view my cue and then it's going to give them a cue by showing all the shippers in, in their queue right now so they can, uh, you know, they can also marcus at all, you know, our computer settle on truck, but we already did that.
10 So we don't need to do it. If they want to see another driver's queue, they can always change your cue to another logged on user are not logged in, but another user's queue that will have something, you know, there's my different drug, different drivers right now in this case that have a queue so they could go and see somebody else's queue if they still want her to. So we'll go back on that. All right, so these are set on truck and then of course if they want to remove them they can delete them off the queue and it'll make them back available for someone else to add to their cute. Let's go back here. So now we're ready to deliver shippers. So these are you going out on a route to go on? I'm going to deliver and it will segregate the shippers by shipping address.
56 So I have one, two, three. He treated ABC machine, Jan or fiber. If I want, let's say I'm at one, two, three machine. I want to deliver those parts. I just click on a link and it'll pre select both. You know, in this case I picked two different orders. Um, so I have both of them and then go to deliver and then they can do add a new contact manual, sign off or pick a contact from the list. I'm going to use the manual sign off in my example that come in, pick that they type in their username, who signing for them. And then you know, I'm using a desktop with a mouse, so
35 I'm just signing it that way. If you had a touchscreen you could know on a smartphone or a tablet that's a touchscreen environment, it would let them sign there with a stylist or something like that to get their signature. When you hit the OK, it's going to mark those as delivered and drop the digital signature of that person named know their full name typed out and their signature and then the date and time it was delivered. So let's go through this again. I want to deliver that. This time I'm going to pick, you know, Robert. And then in this case
14 I don't have to type in his name because I picked them from the list and. OK. And it also has the ability, if you want to go in and edit the contact there and that's where it's controlled to. OK that then we'll just, uh, we'll, we'll go back on that so I can go back to my queue cue. I don't want to deliver it. Wasn't able to deliberately. So I select them and delete them from my queue. All right, so I deleted them from mckeil. So that's how you should use that for loading a truck and making multiple shipping address flourish. The other way to add shippers, you can add by work order number. So I can just type in the order number, select up. There's that order. I have the option here. If I'm doing this by order number, I'm going to run this assumption, I'm doing it inside the shop, so I'm doing one at a time or a group of them. In this case, you can add it to your queue and go through the delivery mechanism we just covered. Or you can go straight to it and say, OK, I want her to deliver this. And then you get your list of contacts and we're gonna pick Jane Doe this time and then you know, Jane's going to sign here
28 and OK, and then it's marked as delivered and your back to the homepage. See, other ways to add shippers is either by customer and or by bill of lading. So you have the four options by work order number by customer, and then understand name or number or by bill of lading off the bill. I don't have a bill of lading example, but on bill lading you would have multiple shippers tentatively, um, you would get, you'd capture a signature to all those orders on advil or just to the building itself. [inaudible] thing you can do from, um, I deliver is you can launch into production pathway and it's remember production pathway is to remember to log on user in their last work center they were in. If you're doing this from a tablet or smart mode, you will have to add the production pathway key for them to do this from I deliver, which was killed under system setting six, 26 and your system so that if you're going to use, you know, that they want to track from here if you have it set up properly, when with auto ship or tracking at an operation, these orders, if they're at that operations, should have tracked automatically for me, um, through that operation to marching out who basically seeing another way of saying how to deliver them.
42 So that's the, the brief overview of it. Deliver if you need any additional help, always remember, there's the help request links on the, uh, most, every page. But here's one on this page here. So you can go through that and get additional help.
