Links

System Links are user defined hyperlinks to web pages or documents.  These will be shown in a menu on the main Bluestreak Portal page (Titled: Company Links). Links will be visible to all users.

Example links may include: Training documents, employee forms, daily announcements, company events, etc.

User Links will be shown in a menu on the main Bluestreak Portal page (Titled: My Links). Links will be visible only to the user who created them.

Example links may include: commonly used pages within Bluestreak, reference material specific to the individual.

• Active Date

  • Link will be visible on or after this date.

• Expires Date

  • Link will not be visible after this date.

• Title

  • The text of the link.

• Url

  • This must be either a fully qualified url (http:\\www.go-bluestreak.com) or may be a link to a Bluestreak page (~/ReportV2/ReportView.aspx?...).

• Description

  • This text will appear as a tool-tip if the mouse hovers over the link.

• Active

  • Must be true for link to appear.  This may be used to hide the link temporarily.
