Production Pathway - General Information (see video below)
Video Text
04 In this video we're going to go over the basics of production pathway. There'll be, there'll be several videos on production pathway so you don't see it. There'll be a couple more to follow. This is followup. So once you log into blue streak in modules, production pathway, and I already have the tab open so I'm just going to click over to it. So we're just gonna open up in your last known tab wherever you were on the last place I was in here was on an active tab within blue streak or our production pathway. So we're just going to review the basics of this and this one and then we'll do some tracking and whatnot. So by the logged in user mean, um, my last work center was works at wic too. So that's the work center to open it. If I want to change my work center, just click on the work center link there and then there's your list of work centers. I'm just going to keep it the same one.
03 And um, next to that, here's an order filter. There's two ways to filter. You can type in the order number or you can pick the, you know, um, you know, I can type it in there or I can pick it from the filter here and do the filter and just have that item filtered off to clear that, square it out back to your active tab. So there's three tabs here as far as orders filtering capabilities. There's active which means running loads loads on hold, and we also show the restricted loads in this, this filter, what restricted is, isn't it your function where this order is restricted viewing and everything and production pathway will be pass code protected, so they have to verify who they are. Uh, the next tab is available. I'll flip over and alchemy all available orders in my work. On this particular one, I have a lot of restricted, so it's a testing on my part and then there's the all tab that'll flip forward which will give you a running loads loads on hold and are available in a work center that is refresh button. I always recommend my users, if you haven't been on a screen for a bit, hit the refresh button just to make sure someone else didn't do something from another computer. Just as a refresher. On next to that is a user tab. This is where you can change users. In other words, log yourself off or someone off log yourself. Here's a configuration where you can change your themes. There's also a change password is user preference tab is what it is.
45 That is a goal. Have glink to go to prioritize load list which works with our scheduling module. That'll be a video onto itself. Next Stover is a sorting mechanism, is set by default to sort is the fault, is high priority jobs at the top of the list and then promise dates, oldest to newest, requested oldest to know us, and then all other orders, oldest to newest. There's a couple different variations. You can do an order filter and we'll pick that one and in the example here, it filters by order I've got to doing, sending. I can flip it around and do descending. In other words, oldest to newest or newest to oldest, that's just ascending. Descending. Next to that is a help leg and this is going to be feedback. Feedback is your internal suggestion box, internal to your version of blue streak. Help requests. This is the link into us.
46 This is how you enter health requests through production pathway. This a concern in the throughput blue streak site and we'll follow up from there. And then there's a training webinars link. It's are literally that training and webinars videos that you guys can watch if you have it enabled. There's an emergency info link, which um, in this particular site takes me to my sarcasm. The Sky is falling. That link can be hooked to any web document. So I use google drive, Google docs as money, my web APP. So I've, I've made a google doc that says the sky's falling. Also available is the links. You know, you have a mobile Ui, summer sounds, we're just, we're testing, we're linking. Utilize websites to the software through the system. Links in this case and last bit on that top row is the log out. So log out, somebody else, log in, do it right from there.
44 OK, let's review the order information line. Starting from left to right. The first row is a filter. If I want to filter to this order alone, it's a filter. It'll end up in the order filter, not annex to. That is the infobox. Now if I want to see the work order, click on the link, it'll open the work order general page. If I print the work order show report that'll print the work order. Um, this also has, you know, there's quality characteristics attached, but want to click on that and get a little more detail. You know, it's a little running load. Here's more links. Now there's a link also here to the work order process page, which was the operation link. The next operation is showing and just some other general information as my immediate attachments, quality characteristics, and there's the original work order filter, which means this work order probably copied it to new bill that's showing up there as an original work quarter.
44 Next to that is load status. There's a start load and load and cancel load now. So that's how you will go into that in another video, how to start and managed loads. There's a start labor status which is tracking load tracking is operational tracking. I'm tracking this operation through a phone so I'm tracking this is facts by operation, by being a good example, but it was fine. Any operation I'm tracking it through to verify someone did something next to that. We have a labor status column which is a function to run labor with or without a load status. Now this has got active labor and it's showing how many people are logged in for Labor that has a start adjust an end function, but we'll go through them in attracting video under the tracking button. There's a modify load and load by selected. In other words, by order ended load by equipment and load by work order, batch and track parts.
51 More information, Kappos inventory. If you're using it media and each has a link, not conformance notes. If there is data questions, there would be a, you know, it has to be load for this link to go hot and it's, there's no data questions so there's nothing there. Op instructions, process quality reports in shippers, whip with history, and under the more tab there's load alerts, start and load alerts, the load information, parts of containers, and the work center. Under the utilities, there's the calibration for hardness tester equipment calibration where I can calibrate equipment there. There's an email where you can view your email from production pathway. There's also indirect labor starting and there's a maintenance request if you have the, uh, I maintain function where you can enter a maintenance request tab for my active labor and there's also a temporary review. So that's under all the tabs here.
50 Everything you need to do with this order is in the line here. Deliver change we made to the system. So there's A. I'm want to flip my sorting here because I want to show you something else that's available and it's not available in this work center. Let me flip to a different work center here that Alice. This is a good example here that I have a part image. So it's a new feature in the system as of uh, October 2017 where we can show a part images, a part image in production pathway, and it's a single image only, it has to be the part work order, part image designated as that, and then we can show that image and it's a thumbnail, so you can click it open and full screen. So that'll, that'll conclude this video. On the next sequence of videos, we're going to do load tracking, labor tracking, and then we'll have another video again on prioritized lotus. Let's conclude this video. Thank you.
