04 In this video, we're going to review work order, which is after the work orders created, so from the homepage or whichever page, I've got an order up here to the order parts page, score over the editing of this first part line do's and don'ts, and then we'll go through the options for adding part line here. So the edit and open the edit pencil. Now, as long as you, if you're doing tracking as long as you haven't tracked any part yet, you can edit the quantity without any consequences. If you've started tracking and you change the part quantity, you're going to need to make either track parts through to the, uh, to catch them off. Or you're going to have to change the, uh, tracking quantities. If you try to change the quantity down, then the part number, the part number is the only thing that you should cannot or should not edit here without some expectations.
58 And what I mean by that is if I clear this part and I pick a different part or just type something in and then when I tab out of the field, the system is going to look for that part and it's going to clear all the information from the existing part so you'd have to re enter including the control plan connection here. So you have to be cautious of that because the control plan for the order is attached to the first part line of the work order. So if you edit that and um, I don't need to give it a job number, it'll give me, in this case, it's giving me a general database there. And the general database here I know on this particular one is because the control plan order 18, 92 has media attached so that it's unexpected consequences. In this case, what the system it will cancel this to reverted back.
00 And what the system is saying is you can't, if the control plan is enter to an order and you edit the part line, and we're going to do that again here and we'll do it the proper way to get this to flow over. For me, clear my part, type in or pick a different. Doesn't make any nevermind [inaudible] system. I don't eat it. Description weight didn't completely clear. So I'll remake it, recalculate. And then if I want to keep the same control plan on my edit here, I go to my control plants selector and I can type in the order number here. There was an order specific control plan and reattach it and OK at. And now it'll offer the edit because the system is trying on this first part line is trying to rebuild the control plan. And all this control plan cannot be rebuilt on the order because it has media attached to it.
56 So I'd have to go through the steps to removing the media thrown troll plan to get it to be thrown out and rebuilt. So in this case, I'm just reattaching it. So if you're editing the first part, line number, where you're going to clear information, you can, you can edit just spot anything else here without issue. You can edit the description, the weights, jobs, he load back, any information that you have available on the site has a lot of information turned on for part information, and this is site by site specific. So if you're going to edit the first part line, you don't want to lose your control plan, just go to the attach on the edit, enter the order number on a search edit. <Unk> is my order number, search and on. It's already selected so I can't find it. Make sure it's attached in a way it goes and it'll be fine as well.
44 Cancel that. Revert back to just wanting to review that quickly before we went into the site. So there's, you know, media attachments to depart at or you know, standard media stuff. There's bom for those that do a vendor and vendor part information of bum link. And then there's also, if you have the intelligence ai module, there's another link here for update part process. Now we'll cover that in the Intel plan module, how that works, so if I want to add another part line, there's two options. I can just do a straight up ad number of pieces in the same part number and that'll gonna pick a different part number just to show you what's going to happen here. I picked another part number and I get the pop-up note that it's. This is a partner notification and then as long as the processes are the same you won't get another notification.
33 So let's cancel that and let's make sure we get a notification here. So we'll do the ad and a oops too far and you start typing. It'll find anything that matches here. Here's my eight part number. I'll select that once again, use part notification and then you'll also get a notification that lists the high risk analysis notification and one more time. And the process does not match. The part does not match the process that is already set up on the order. So you'd have to manage that. You make the rule there. That will. OK, so if it says, yeah, I'm going to run this part to that process, that's fine, but it's warning you that this part set up in the system. It has a different process than it is delineated on the work order. I can OK it to insert it and it will add the second part line.
28 If you haven't tracked this thing yet, you can come back in and delete the second part line. I wouldn't. You know, if you delete the first part line and you're going to have to rebuild everything, you're going to have to rebuild the part line, rebuild a control plan for the order and go from there. So I'm just gonna remove that one off so you can get canceled this for a second. You can keep adding as many parts as you want here. Now, if I would recommend, if you have, say you're going to add 15 part to an order, I would recommend. What you do then is click this, skip pricing, tracking on add, update, and then just add all your parts and then when you're done adding all your parts, you refresh the pricing on select it and refresh your pricing. This allows the system to add to parts quickly because we were adding a part to an order.
17 We're trying to price it. We're looking for Campos and we're looking for a lot of things to match up and it's a lot of work on the system. If you have, I'm going to use 15 as a reference number 10 part lines. If you're over that, I would recommend you click on the skip tracing tracking and then when you actually get all your parts, add it on, click it, update your pricing so that the system's not trying to price everything every time you do part in row insert. So I'm going to remove that part, show the other option here to add a part to a work order and once again, a little different approach here. Instead of adding where you get a blank screen, I'm going to do a copy and this is going to make an exact copy of the first part line. So it's going to ask you, do you want to include [inaudible] items?
03 Do you want to include media? In this case, I'm going to say no to both. OK it, and it's going to add an exact copy. Was the editor open of the first part line while I only have five of these, and then OK it to insert you make the changes you need to make and you have a second part line. Now, once again, if you only doing a couple of rows like this, you don't need to use this, the skip pricing. If you're doing lots of roles over 10 Rosa Parks, I would recommend the skip pricing. Get all apart lines at it and then refresh the pricing so that a little pretty much conclude the work quarter part pricing work, quarter part page. Um, you know, there's a lot more to it, but just to keep this quick and simple things.
